REPRINT PERMISSIONS May 2016 - The website under www.hwassociation.org is property of the Healthy World Association (HWA), an association registered in the Canton of Vaud (Switzerland). As such, permission to reproduce materials found on www.hwassociation.org web properties is now subject to HWA's reprint permission policy governing such materials. REPRINT PERMISSION INFORMATIONThe Healthy World Associations (HWA) welcomes requests to reprint its materials, including, but not limited to, articles, reports, blog entries, press releases, images and photos. To request reprint permission, please email a completed request form to secretariat [at] hwassociation.org or return it by regular mail to the HWA Swiss Headquarters address below. Should HWA grant your request, you agree to the terms and conditions below. HWA reviews requests on a case-by-case basis and reserves the right to deny permission for any reason and even without giving a motivation. Terms and Conditions for Reprinting Healthy World Association (HWA) MaterialsAgreement. Permission to reprint HWA materials shall be subject to the terms and conditions set forth below. HWA reserves the right to modify this agreement at any time without advance notice. (Note that use of HWA's web properties, including www.hwassociation.org, is also subject to the following user agreement.) Permission. All content appearing on HWA web properties, including, but not limited to, articles, reports, blog entries, press releases, images and photos, is the property of HWA, unless otherwise stated. Individuals may print a single copy of HWA materials for personal use, which may be shared with friends and family, without written permission. However, additional copies of HWA materials may not be reprinted or made available for distribution without prior written permission. Permission Requests. To obtain reprint permission from HWA, complete a request form, available at reprint-permissions-request-form.pdf, and email a signed copy to secretariat [at] hwassociation.org or return it by regular mail to the HWA Swiss Headquarters address on the bottom of the form. HWA reviews submitted requests on a case-by-case basis. HWA reserves the right to deny permission for any reason and even without giving a motivation. Approved permissions to reprint HWA materials will be issued in writing. You do not have permission to reprint HWA materials until you receive written confirmation from HWA. Credits. Approved reprints of HWA materials must carry the following credit: Reproduced with the permission of the Healthy World Association, www.hwassociation.org. Appearance of Endorsements. You may not reprint, or create a link to, HWA materials in a way that might be misinterpreted as an HWA endorsement of any entity, product or service. Non-Commercial-Use. HWA is a non-profit organization according to the Art. 60 and followings of the Swiss Civil Code and dedicated to using the power of information to protect public health and the environment. With that mission in mind, HWA limits the use of reprinted HWA materials to educational, non-commercial purposes only. Abridged Works. HWA materials shall be printed in their entirety. If HWA materials must be abridged due to space restrictions, HWA must review the abridged version, which must be submitted with the initial permission request. Direct Links. Advance permission to post, share or distribute direct links to content appearing on HWA's web properties, including www.hwassociation.org, is not required. However, HWA reserves the right to revoke permission for such links at any time. Fee-Shifting, Choice of Law. Any claim or dispute relating to, or arising out of, this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Confederation of Switzerland, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. If any provision or portion of these terms and conditions is held in whole or in part to be unenforceable for any reason, the remainder of that provision and of the entire Permission Agreement will be severable and will remain in effect, to the fullest degree consistent with the intent of this document. |
